After 14 years as a public high school teacher, Orlando Baxter left the classroom to pursue comedy full time. That leap became the story behind Live From South High — a hilarious and honest one-man show about teaching, taking risks, leaving what's comfortable, and starting over.

Orlando spent 14 years working in public education, including teaching at the same high school he once attended.
Then he left.
Not because he stopped caring about education — but because he wanted to take a chance on something he'd always wanted to pursue.
Comedy.
That leap eventually led to appearances on Conan, Comedy Central and BET, a co-starring role in the Amazon Prime feature Salesmen, performances at major international comedy festivals, national touring, the Bored Teachers Comedy Tour, and a Dry Bar Comedy special viewed more than five million times.
